EUROBOSS TO RACE AT SNETTERTON!

Formula 1 racing will come to Snetterton on 4/5 August as the EuroBOSS single-seater series makes a popular return to the fast East Anglian circuit.

EuroBOSS is the premier series for slicks-and-wings racers from throughout the last 20 years to be showcased on circuits across the continent. While F1 cars of the late 80s and 90s are the main attraction, the rules of the series mean that Formula 3000, World Series Nissan, and even ChampCars and IndyCars of recent years can compete!

EuroBOSS includes a number of highly-rated youngsters going up against a group of established sportscar and single-seater racers. 2004 champion Scott Mansell was rewarded for his efforts with a McLaren Autosport BRDC Award nomination before going to race in the U.S., while one mainstay of the series is Dutchman Klaas Zwart, better known for being the petrolhead owner of supercar maker Ascari.

The EuroBOSS cars will be the fastest machines to race at Snetterton in 2007, with Nigel Greensall's current lap record from 1997 standing at a breathtaking 58.97 seconds, an average speed of almost 120mph! This time has stood as the outright lap record at Snetterton for a decade and could well be broken next month.

Benetton, Jordan and Tyrrell are just three of the F1 names that will line up on the grid for the 15-minute sprint on the Saturday and the 30-minute main race the following day! With advance tickets costing just £10 for adults and with free entry for children 12 and under, don't miss this great opportunity to see Grand Prix racing in Norfolk!
