Gerstl chased Schroeder for many laps, until finding a way past whilst lapping traffic. Gerstl achieved his first win for Top Speed Racing and their enthusiastic sponsors. Second came a disappointed Schroeder followed by a surprised Milavec in third. He had started the weekend with a disqualification in first practice,so had to work his way through the two races, third being a good effort. Zwart retired with a suspension problem, and the beautiful Benetton of Delavina with electrical failure whilst running strong.
